Our first 3D printing fair back in May went so well, that we’re going to have another one on July 1st from 12 – 4 pm. Like last time, it’s free and open to the public. Come try out our 3D printers and make your own prints. You don’t have to know anything about 3D printing or design. If you can make a simple drawing on an iPad, you can make a 3D print.
You’ll use our Doodle3D boxes and iPads to create simple doodle-based prints that make great trinkets or even Play-Doh cutters. It’s right before Independence Day, so print your impression of fireworks exploding, an American flag waving in the wind, or whatever else you can imagine.
GSA Makerspace is located at Garden Street Academy:
2300 Garden Street
Santa Barbara, CA 93105
The makerspace itself is on the second floor of the Muir Building in Room 206 on the west side of campus. See our campus map (pdf) for more details. Enter the campus using East Drive and park in the gravel Garden St. Lot. You can also enter the main gate and park near the playground or near the Muir Building.
